At UVA Health Adult Neurology Clinic in the Primary Care Center, we offer a broad, team-based approach to care for patients with neurological disorders.
Please register for your appointment on the first floor of UVA Primary Care Center.
Please arrive for your appointment at least 30 minutes in advance to allow enough time for parking, registration, and paperwork. Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late for an appointment may be rescheduled.

Patient Information
Neuropsychology
We provide testing and assessments for patients 65 years old and older who are being followed for a neurological condition. Testing and assessments typically last between 2-3 hours. Visits will help determine whether your memory concerns are due to age-related changes or a neurological disorder.
We see patients with:
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Lewy body dementia
- Parkinson’s disease
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
- Frontotemporal dementias (FTD)
Please note: Neuropsychological testing and evaluation for patients under the age of 65 or who are not being followed for an existing neurological condition are performed at the Neuropsychology Assessment Clinic in the West Complex.

Neurovascular Surgery
Our neurosurgery partners see patients for vascular and movement conditions, as they are dual-trained or hybrid neurosurgeons. This means that they perform both endovascular (minimally invasive) and open neurosurgical procedures.
Neurovascular surgeons work with expert teams in:

- Spine
- Skull base tumors
- Stroke

Neurological Testing
Our team uses electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalogram (EEG) to test a muscle's activity for movement disorders or brain function to diagnose seizures or trauma.
