Employee Primary Care

UVA Health Employee Primary Care offers a range of primary care services for adult employees of the UVA Health University Medical Center and Academic division on the UVA Health Plan (all tiers). If you don’t have a primary care provider, consider making Employee Primary Care your primary care home by establishing with one of our expert providers. Same-day appointments also are available for immediate care needs.

An existing relationship with a UVA Health primary care provider is not required to be seen at this clinic. Please note: Children and spouses on the UVA Health plan are not eligible to use the clinic at this time.

Conveniently located on grounds, the clinic is an exclusive benefit for employees of any option of the UVA Health Plan. We aim to provide accessible, convenient, and first-rate primary care from UVA Health providers.

Services include:

• Preventative care and wellness visits (covered by UVA Health Plans; see plan for preventative care definition and coverage details)
• Management of chronic diseases like diabetes and high blood pressure
• Treatment for depression and anxiety
• Routine gynecological care including pap smears and IUD/Nexplanon placement
• Same-day appointments for common illness and minor injuries
• Skin biopsies and joint injections
