Manjari Kumar, DO, is an obstetrician/gynecologist who specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
“I became a doctor because of my love of human anatomy and physiology,” she says. “I have the opportunity to empower people to make positive changes for their health and the ability to use technology to improve surgical outcomes.”
Kumar grew up in Culpeper and Northern Virginia and studied biology and dance at Pennsylvania State University. She earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her ob/gyn residency at Good Samaritan University Hospital in New York, where she was the academic chief resident.
“It’s my honor and privilege to care for and give back to the communities I grew up in,” she says.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, travel, cooking, dancing, and hiking.
