Bio & Overview
Michael Perry, MD, received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his medical school degree from the University of Virginia. He completed his residency training in diagnostic radiology at Ochsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans and then obtained subspecialty training in musculoskeletal radiology and interventions at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Perry joined the UVA faculty as a member of the musculoskeletal radiology division in 2017.
Dr. Perry serves as modality chief of MSK CT and represents the MSK division on the UVA radiology residency education committee. He supervises residents and fellows in diagnostic imaging and a wide variety of image guided interventions including ultrasound, CT, and fluoroscopy guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. His clinical and research interests include DXA body composition evaluation and ultrasound guided botulinum toxin (botox) injection for treatment of Raynaud’s phenomenon.
