Priyanka Nair, DO

Priyanka Nair, DO, is an OB/GYN whose care includes routine and high-risk obstetrics, contraception and family planning, and preventive women’s health. She also performs minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery.

“My role is to make sure patients understand their diagnosis, treatment options, potential risks and benefits, and any reasonable alternatives, so they feel well equipped to make informed decisions about their care,” she says. “I want my patients to feel heard, respected, and be actively involved in the plan we develop together.”

Dr. Nair was born in Mumbai, India, and raised in Vienna, Virginia. She attended Drexel University in Philadelphia and received her medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, where she graduated with certification in robotic surgery.

“I knew from a young age that I wanted to become a physician. I was drawn to the opportunity to form meaningful connections with people and help them navigate their reproductive health from everyday concerns to life-changing experiences," she says. “Building lasting relationships with my patients and helping them feel informed, supported, and heard throughout their care is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.”
