Study Description

The UVA Center for Psychiatric Clinical Research seeks adults for a research study, ages 18-65 with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) with continued depressive symptoms, despite taking an antidepressant. The purpose of the study is to test the efficacy of the study medication with an existing antidepressant, compared to a placebo with the antidepressant.

Study involves taking an experimental medication or placebo, blood draws, ECGs, completing assessments, and maintaining an eDiary.

Study-related exams, tests, and experimental medication provided at no cost.

Compensation

$75 per completed visit
