Stereotactic MRI-guided Focused Ultrasound Mesencephalotomy for Pain Palliation in Head & Neck Cancer
Study Description

The Department of Neurosurgery seeks men and women ages 18-75 with chronic pain resulting from head and/or neck cancer for a research study. The purpose of the study is to determine if focused ultrasound can be used to help relieve chronic pain in patients whose medications are not working well to control their pain.

This study involves a screening and baseline visit followed by a focused ultrasound procedure and post-procedure visits at 1 Day, 1 week, and 3 month. You will be contacted by phone at the 1 month and 6 month time points.

All study related procedures will be paid for by the clinical trial.
