Eleanor B. Seid, RN, MSN, AG-ACNP, is part of a team of providers who focus on the medical treatment of patients with brain and spine tumors (neuro-oncology). She has been at UVA since graduating from nursing school in 2009.
Eleanor was born and raised outside of Baltimore, Maryland. She attended UVA and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing before starting work as a nurse in the UVA Post Anesthesia Care Unit. She remained there until deciding to go back to school at UVA to earn her Master of Science in Nursing for her nurse practitioner degree. She worked as an NP on the vascular surgery floor before transitioning to the Cancer Center in neuro-oncology.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, being outside walking their dog, and traveling to see friends and family.
