About
- Biography
-
I grew up near Pittsburgh, PA. I was born and raised in the same house, where my family still lives. In 2003, I graduated from Gannon University in Erie, PA, with a degree in biology. My next adventure brought me to West Virginia, where I went to Alderson-Broaddus University and received my master’s of physician assistant studies.
Currently, I work in the Department of Neurological Surgery and specialize in spinal deformity. I’ve been in the same position since moving down to Charlottesville in 2012. I had previously worked at WVU in vascular surgery.
My husband, our cat and two golden retrievers, have made a home in Crozet, VA. I am part of the CrossFit community at Solidarity and involved in various intramural sports through Cville Social. I volunteer with our neighborhood HOA and at the CASPCA. I love to keep active with any number of activities, including kayaking, camping, hiking, rock climbing, etc. but you can also find me frequenting the breweries and wineries where I love to sample new spirits.
