Katherine Black, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist. Her areas of expertise include obstetric anesthesia, general anesthesia, and ambulatory anesthesia.
Dr. Black attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she graduated with high distinction with a degree in biological sciences.
She received her medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in Omaha. She graduated with distinction and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Dr. Black joined the UVA faculty after completing her anesthesia residency training at the University of Virginia.
