Maria A. Rossetti, PhD, is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist. She works with adults and older adults, who are referred for a variety of reasons including, memory loss, dementia, and other neurological conditions.
She has a specific interest in dementias and movement disorders, particularly Huntington’s disease, and cross-cultural neuropsychology as she is a bilingual Spanish speaker (originally from Argentina). As a certified provider for the health system, Maria offers neuropsychological services to patients in Spanish. She is certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology.
Maria was born and raised in Argentina and lived there until she was 12. She completed most of her education in the U.S, attending the University of Miami for her undergraduate and doctorate degrees. She completed her internship and fellowship training in clinical neuropsychology at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. She joined the UVA faculty in July 2021.
