Do not pay via ParkMobile or the kiosk. Instead, bring your license plate information to the pharmacy to validate your parking while at the pharmacy.

The Central Grounds Garage is conveniently located under the University Bookstore. The garage may be accessed from Emmet Street (Route 29) between McCormick Road and University Avenue.

Overview

The UVA Bookstore Pharmacy is a full-service pharmacy, open five days a week in the rear of the bookstore’s first floor. The pharmacy’s services include:

  • Prescription drop off and pick up
  • Doctor-prescribed vaccinations
  • Consultations with licensed pharmacists
  • Generic prescriptions
  • Automatic refills
  • Pet prescriptions
  • Medication management
  • Over-the-counter medications

Requesting Refills

You can refill prescriptions in person, call, email, or through MyChart. If using MyChart, you must confirm before we ship your medication:

  • Payment information
  • Shipping address
  • Days’ supplies remaining

Payments

All UVA Pharmacies are not currently accepting cash or checks. Credit & debit cards are the only accepted payment method. However, you can still get your medicine if you only have cash. We’ll fill your prescriptions and discuss later billing and other payment options with you.

At the UVA Bookstore Pharmacy, patients can use the following to pay:

  • Credit or debit cards
  • FSA or HSA cards
  • Student Charge
  • Cavalier Advantage

We the only pharmacy that patients can use the Student Charge option to pay for their medications.
