Nicole Deal, MD, has an intense job. From skin grafts to bridge plating, a technology she brought with her to UVA, Deal saves fingers, prevents amputations and heals broken arms. 

But she doesn't always have to operate. Thanks to new treatment for Dupuytren’s contracture, Deal can manage the condition with a simple injection.
