The Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences seeks pregnant women (any trimester of pregnancy) ages 18 and older with a history of a mood disorder, including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar I Disorder, Bipolar II Disorder, or Bipolar Disorder Not Otherwise Specified for an observational research study. The purpose of the research study is to try to understand the genetic, biological, and environmental causes of postpartum mood episodes associated with postpartum depression.

Research Study for Adults with Chronic Pain

The Department of Neurosurgery seeks adults ages 18-80 with chronic pain for a research study. The purpose of the study is to determine if deep brain stimulation can treat chronic pain effectively and safely.

You may be eligible for this study if:
- You have had severe chronic pain for greater than 6 months
- You have been unable to treat your chronic pain with medications, injections, or other surgeries

Fitness-adapted, pembrolizumab-based therapy for untreated classical Hodgkin lymphoma patients 60 years of age and above (cHL 001)

The UVA Cancer Center seeks adults aged 60 years or older with newly diagnosed classical Hodgkin Lymphoma for a research study. The purpose of the study is to find out if fitness assessments can help doctors decide what type of treatment is best for cHL patients over the age of 60 with different levels of fitness. This study will also help determine if a study drug, pembrolizumab, is effective as part of the upfront treatment regimen of cHL. Pembrolizumab has been approved for the treatment of relapsed or refractory cHL, but not for the upfront treatment of cHL.

A Phase 1b Open-Label Study to Evaluate the Safety and Anti-cancer Activity of Loncastuximab Tesirine in Combination with Other Anti-cancer Agents in Patients with Relapsed or Refractory B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma

The purpose of the study is to evaluate if the investigational drug called loncastuximab tesirine in combination with another anti-cancer agent is a safe and effective treatment for relapsed or refractory B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

Phase 1/2a, Open-label, Multicenter Study of Intramuscular PRL-02 Depot in Patients with Advanced Prostate Cancer

The University of Virginia is conducting a clinical research study for adults ages 18 and over, who have advanced prostate cancer. If you join this study, you will receive an investigational drug, PRL-02. The main purpose of this study is to test PRL-02 to find out which is the best dose to use in future research studies. The study also aims to assess the safety of PRL-02, how it is absorbed by and cleared from the body, and how well it works against prostate cancer. Everyone who takes part will be treated with PRL-02 in combination with prednisone or dexamethasone.

Patients With Multiple Myeloma (MM) Are Needed For A Research Study Using an Experimental Cellular Therapy

The purpose of this study is to better understand the safety and estimate the efficacy of an experimental cellular therapy (SLAMF7 FPBMC) in patients with multiple myeloma.

GBM Agile, study for newly diagnoses and recurrent glioblastomas

The Neuro-oncology team at UVA seeks adults ages > 18 with a newly diagnosed or recurrent glioblastoma (GBM) for a research study. The purpose of the study is to determine if different experimental treatments improve the overall survival of patients with glioblastoma.

You may be eligible for this study if: you have a newly diagnosed glioblastoma (GBM) and have not received any treatment other than surgery. Or if you have a glioblastoma (GBM) that has returned despite receiving prior treatment.
