Pancreatic cysts increase your risk for cancer. We can get ahead of pancreatic cancer by finding and treating pancreatic cysts.

At UVA, you'll find one of the first programs in the country dedicated to pancreas cysts. We have effective, high-tech tools for screening and surgery. We can address your risk as quickly as possible.

Pancreatic Cysts: Hidden & Silent

Usually, pancreatic cysts don't cause symptoms. They only show up on scans you might get for something else. This makes it hard to know if you have cysts.

Pancreatic cancer is hard to treat. Once you have it, surgery is the only cure. But surgery only works for 10-15% of patients. That's why knowing your risk and getting care early is key.

At UVA, you'll find a team on the front lines of care and research. We're experts at pancreatic cancer surgery. And we continue to explore ways to catch pancreatic cancer before it strikes.
