You do need a medical provider who can get your mammogram results. It doesn't have to be a UVA provider.

I don't know what I need to make an appointment. Do I have to have a referral?

You don't need a referral for a basic mammogram. Just call.

I don't know how to get there. And I work. When would I do it?

Not everyone has a car or the ability to take off work when they need to.

Cancer's never good. But if you do have breast cancer, the sooner you know, the better.
